Privacy Policy

ByldMate is currently operated as a beta product by its founder, based in Victoria, Australia ("ByldMate," "we," "us"). A formal business entity has not yet been established. This policy will be updated with full company registration details once that process is complete. For any privacy questions, contact hello@byldmate.com.au.

• Account information: name, email, phone, business name, business address, logo.
• Job and client data you enter: client names, contact details, job costs, invoices, variations, and related project information you choose to input.
• Usage data: automatically collected log and device data to help us understand and improve the app.
• Payment information: if a paid plan is introduced, payment details will be processed by a third-party payment provider — we do not store full card details.

To provide and operate ByldMate; to generate invoices, progress claims, and reports on your behalf; to communicate with you about your account and beta updates; to improve and secure the platform; and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: infrastructure and hosting providers that run ByldMate; your clients, where you choose to send them invoices or communications through the app; and authorities, where required by law.

ByldMate is built on and hosted using Base44, a third-party application platform. Base44 provides the underlying infrastructure, hosting, and hosting-related processing for the app. Your data is stored and processed through Base44's platform as part of delivering the ByldMate service to you.

ByldMate is in active beta development. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we do not guarantee against data loss, corruption, or downtime during this period, and recommend keeping your own copies of critical invoices and records.

We retain data for as long as your account is active. As this is a beta product, retention practices may change as the product matures.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time via hello@byldmate.com.au, or update most details directly in Settings.

We use cookies to keep you logged in and understand app usage. Controllable via your browser settings.

This policy may change without notice while ByldMate is in beta. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice where practical.
